Carrie Moon on Blogging, BDSM and Reselling Bikini Briefs

 by Peter Berton

With her hot MILF body, Amazonian stature and awesome all-natural G breasts, Ottawa’s Carre Moon is one of the most sought-after escorts in Canada. But that’s not all there is to Carrie: She also writes an insightful blog (http://www.milfcarriemoon.blogspot.ca/) that takes you right inside the realities of the adult industry.

SLC: Please tell us about your blog.

Carrie Moon (Carrie): Well, it's something I guess I started around the time I got into porn. I knew after my Lhasa passed away about six years ago that it would free me up for traveling. So I headed two years in a row to AVN and then continued to travel to Florida, Arizona and eventually LA to shoot porn in 2008.

I guess I started writing so people could keep up on my whereabouts. Eventually the blog morphed into a spot to link to my escort site, my clips store and just an easy place to post pics, escorting tour dates and my ideas on my life and experiences.

I really find myself writing only when I'm inspired. Sometimes I go in spurts and have tons to chat about, whilst other times I'm not the least bit inspired to write or display anything.

SLC: What sort of impact does the blog have on your career?

Carrie: I'm an escort first and a performer second. So I get a lot of fan email asking why I don't shoot anymore.

Of course, they mostly know me from my porn and not as clients so I get why they think I've retired. I haven't: It's just that I got into porn right around the time where budgets dropped and since I'm not American I can't legally work in LA.

Now I can't get back to LA anyway, even if I could shoot again. I would in a heartbeat. I loved my time in LA, but while I'm an active escort where it's legal in Canada, I'm not allowed to go to the U.S. where it's not. Stupid, but I don't make the rules.

SLC: What topics do you cover, and why?

Carrie: I try to stick mostly to sexual topics, as that's mainly why people are interested in me. But I have readers and fans who are also interested to hear what I think about other topics, so I write about what interests me.

If it interests others too, that's a bonus. But if not? Hey, there are other spots all over the place to entertain you.

I'm a naturopath and an earth-lover who's very interested in uncovering the greater truths about our corrupt government, so I do occasionally post about my passions. I don't as much as I would like however, because my fans are really 95% interested in seeing me more naked physically than spiritually. (wink!)

SLC: What sort of feedback have you had to your blog so far?

Carrie: Not all my feedback actually gets back to me, of course. Many view my site and never comment. But lately my duo partner who is a fantastic match for me in the bedroom -- well, my steamy writing about our threesomes is getting a lot of positive feedback. While lesbian g/g porn doesn't really sell on fetish sites, guys always fantasize about two women.

SLC: You mention your new work in an online BDSM website. How did you end up getting into this area?

Carrie: I have always offered a BDSM service. But I find it requires a lot more mental and obviously physical preparation than regular sex, so I don't focus on that activity as much.

I got into the website through the husband of the cuckold site I shot for. That was something he wanted to focus more on.

I've always love the outfits, and I missed the acting and role-playing scenarios I had become a fan of shooting for Jerkygirls. He was actually good friends of the Jerkygirls producer, so that's how we initially hooked up for shoots.

I figured I'd give it a shot. I have since become more comfortable with each shoot, as we develop a cast of cohorts to film with me.

SLC: So what are your thoughts about producing BDSM content?

Carrie: Lately, in the fetish world, it is hard to keep with the extreme variety out there. Seems with the first set of clips going up that my Amazon quality was the best feature, so here I use my high heeled boots and shoes to my advantage.

I will be doing more height comparison work, as my fellow actors are quite tiny anyway. There will be more cross-dressing which I've always enjoyed; forced bi (another of my fetishes) and strap-on. I do enjoy these things and as I say, “if you're not having fun don't do it.”

SLC: Is there a market for 'normal sex' anymore?

Carrie: On film? Not as much. There's just way too much free sex videos out there.

The market for viewing is there, but the market for purchase is not. Unfortunately, the free online pirated videos have made it virtually impossible to make money at it now.

In real life, however, and with my escort clientele,. absolutely! I rarely get the type of scenarios I do on film requested for session;. except for my role-playing as step-mom, friend’s best mom/ MILF stuff. that's still very popular.

SLC: Finally, I noticed something about items you have been 'wishing for' online. What is that about?

Carrie: I have been selling my outfits including underwear on abibids.com. The earnings from that are what I use to purchase corsets, PVC and latex from other sites.

The ‘wishing’ you are talking about is a Facebook game and really not helpful. I do like to keep track of things I wish to purchase, and keep an eye out for similar items.

I happen to be 5'11' and quite large boned and obviously very busty; so most of the stuff I would love to purchase isn't made in my size. That's for normal clothing as well as fetish and lingerie. It can be quite frustrating.

I do sew and occasionally have altered or made clothing from scratch, but I can't be doing that all the time. I'm hoping to open an online store within the year, where I have custom outfits made for girls like me and also sell them.

SLC: Is it working?

Carrie: Online sales? Yes! The wishing game? No. It's just a game.

But I'm getting great items now from Hong Kong and China, and the ones that don't fit well I sell online. I'm amassing quite the wardrobe.

I'm also finally utilizing my esse and my sexswing for the new MistressCarrieMoon site. So I'm happy about that as well1
